Sometimes when you search for a shirtless Jamie Bamber pic, you find something even better.

How is this little boy’s face every bit of 700 (or 900) years old? How are you even real, Matt Smith??

Best mom ever, tbh.
My parents are going to Dublin and London for the next week/plus for a conference and, coincidentally, their 16th anniversary. A few months back, my mother called me asking for recommendations on what to see and what do to. My IMMEDIATE response was Much Ado About Nothing with the Doctor/Donna. After some initial confusion about when the show actually began, they secured the last two seats available for next Saturday night’s show.
Me: You haven’t bought theater tickets have you? If you haven’t yet, you can throw out all the other stuff I sent you. This is what you HAVE to see. For you guys, but also for me. The Much Ado About Nothing I talked about with David Tennant (Doctor #10) and Catherine Tate (his companion in series 4 and also the star of that sketch comedy show I watched when I was back home.) http://www.delfontmackintosh.co.uk/Tickets/MuchAdoAboutNothing.php
I thought it was at the National but it’s actually playing on West End. And while it opens June 1, there are previews before then.
You seriously have to go.
Mama: We have not.
Where do you think we should by the tickets?
Me: Well, that link I have shows only two tickets available for Sat night at 730 to buy online. In the Royal Circle section. https://tickets.delfont-mackintosh.com/index.asp?ShoID=146
Friday appears to have “limited availability” and you can’t buy online, you have to call the box office.

Mama: Those are $200…..worth it?
Me: The 56 pounds ones?
But yes. I promise you it will be amazing.
Me: I saw David Tennant when I was in London, in The Pillowman and he was divine.
Mama: Are you living vicariously through us?
Me: Of course. If I can’t get to see it, someone should!!
Mama: Got 2 tickets!
Great seats I’m told. The payment wouldn’t process online so I got a
call from Johnathon at the box office. His accent made me excited!
Me: LKAJSDFL;KJASDL;FKJLASDKJF AMAZING!!!!
I’m so excited for you. You will not regret it.
Me: I’m still spazzing here. It’s almost like I’m going!
Mama: Don’t forget that it’s Mothers Day this Sunday spazzo!
Me: What? What’s that?I’ve already
wiredPaypal’d her money to buy me a programme (British spelling: squee!) and other souvenirs as is appropriate. They’re also probably going to see President Obama speak on Monday (he’s in Dublin, too) but I could care less. THEY GET TO SEE THE DOCTOR/DONNA IN A SHAKESPEARE MASTERPIECE.Consider this post your warning/apology for the upcoming Doctor/Donna week to come.
